Has there ever been a success story like Burr Ridge? The little town that could. When I was growing up if you said you were from, “The Ridge,” you said it with fire in your eye, ready for a fight. If the bible were written forty years ago instead of 2,000 instead of saying, “Can any good thing come out of Nazareth they might have said, “Can any good thing come out of Burr Ridge?” To be honest, it was po-dunk. Hahaha. Who’s laughing now Buster!

Burr Ridge is one of premier towns in the country and a jewel of the western suburbs. Quiet tree lined streets, a thriving business community and easy access to major highways. It’s got it all and people flock to move to this idyllic town.

Ok, it’s not perfect. I stopped into a pastry shop there, and heaven came down, and glory filled my mouth was not my experience. I think once someone looked at me cross-eyed too so probably if you live here you know it’s not perfect—but it comes close. Many of our clients live in Burr Ridge. We’ve had them for years and years and years. One family has a bunch of boys. When we started out cleaning for them, the kids were in grade school. Now the oldest boy is in law school. Even the crummy carpet cleaner is busting his buttons with pride over that exceptional young man.

The lots are bigger, and the grounds are so neat you could eat off of them. I see geese doing it all the time. We love this town even if Kirschbaum’s Bakery in Western Springs beats them hands down in the cream puff department. I used to take my kids there in a wagon and load them up with yummy things.

To this day, it’s still a treat. My oldest son moved to a new home, and as a house warming gift, I gave them a huge box Kirshbaum’s cream puffs. There was finally enough for him even with sharing them with his wife and his three little crumb snatchers.

The people of Burr Ridge have wonderful homes. Large and spacious filled with beautiful things. It’s always a treat to clean for customers old and new. To see a new sofa or leather recliner—both which we clean to perfection by the way. Or to see a lovely new rug their designer picked out for them. Even better when they inherited it from their mom or found it on a trip to the middle-east last year.

Those beautiful rugs need special care, and we can give it to them. Removing the dust and stains some careless, unthinking lout spilled there unless it was you, and then accidents happen and no one is perfect and if they only knew the stress you were under it’s a wonder all the rugs aren’t spilled all over! As if.

Beyond has cleaned for us once before. I was painting one of our son’s bedrooms and tripped and knocked over a full gallon of paint. I called Jimmy and told him what had happened. He was over within the hour. I’ve never seen anyone work so hard to get paint out of a carpet. He was there over an hour. Luckily it was fresh and i covered it with wet towels before he got here. All the paint was removed and the carpet wasn’t even brittle or stiff three weeks later. We are happy to recommend him. He cleans for my mother in law as well.
